These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products and services in the Valled, Lda. online store. By completing an order you declare that you have read and accepted these terms, in the version in force on the date you submit it.

1. Who sells

The seller is Valled, Lda., company and VAT number 514 022 670, with registered office at Zona Industrial Mós, Lote 6/7, 5300-692 Bragança, Portugal. Contacts: geral@valled.pt and +351 273 979 117 (call to a Portuguese landline).

Valled sells autonomous street lighting equipment (Mamute, Girafa, Gazela, Suricata, Pica-Pau and Canguru ranges), solar photovoltaic systems (VPlus range), accessories, signage and related engineering services.

2. Who this store is for

The store sells to consumers (natural persons buying outside their professional activity) and to business customers. The distinction matters: the 14-day right of withdrawal and the three-year guarantee period described below apply to consumers only. Business customers are covered by the general regime and by whatever has been agreed in writing.

3. Prices

All prices are in euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate in force. The price you see on the product page is what you pay for that item; shipping costs are calculated and shown separately at checkout, before you confirm the order and before any charge is made.

Some project items carry no public price because the amount depends on the installation site, quantities and technical specifications. Those items are identified as such and are sold by quotation, in that case there is no charge in the store, and the contract is formed when you accept the proposal we send you.

If a price is published with an obvious error (a typing slip or a plain technical fault, of a kind anyone would recognise as an error) Valled will inform you before shipping and may cancel the order, refunding in full and immediately anything already charged.

4. How an order is placed

You choose the products and add them to the cart; you enter the delivery and billing addresses; you choose the shipping method; you pay; and you confirm at the review step, where you see the final total, shipping and VAT before pressing the button that creates the obligation to pay.

The contract is only concluded when Valled sends you the order confirmation email summarising what you bought. That email serves as the record of the contract; keep it. Valled also stores the order in your customer account, where you can consult it at any time.

Before confirming you can correct any input error by going back through the checkout steps or by editing the cart.

5. Payment

The available payment methods are shown at the payment step of the checkout. Payment is due at the moment you confirm the order; the order is only prepared and shipped once Valled has confirmation that payment has cleared.

Your card details never pass through Valled servers: when you pay by card they are handled directly by the payment service provider, in its own encrypted environment. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Invoice

The invoice is issued electronically and sent to the email address associated with the order. If you need an invoice with a tax number, enter it in the dedicated field of the billing address before completing the order: once issued, an invoice cannot be changed.

7. Availability and delivery times

The dispatch time shown on the product page is an estimate counted from the moment payment clears. Unless otherwise agreed, Valled delivers within a maximum of 30 days from the conclusion of the contract.

If an item is unavailable or the deadline cannot be met, Valled will tell you as soon as possible. You may then wait for the new date or terminate the contract, with a full refund of everything you have paid, shipping included, within 14 days.

8. Delivery, shipping costs and risk

Delivery is made to the address you provide. Shipping costs depend on weight, volume and destination, and are always shown at checkout before confirmation. Deliveries outside mainland Portugal may require a separate quotation.

The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party indicated by them, takes physical possession of the goods. Check the packaging on delivery and, if there is visible damage, record a reservation on the carrier note and tell us within 48 hours.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

Goods sold to consumers carry the legal guarantee of conformity set out in Decree-Law No. 84/2021: the period is three years from delivery for movable goods. Any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.

Where there is a lack of conformity, you may require the goods to be brought into conformity (by repair or replacement) and, in the cases provided by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Bringing the goods into conformity is free of charge, it includes transport, labour and materials. To invoke the guarantee, write to geral@valled.pt with the order number and a description of the problem.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation carried out by third parties, vandalism, extreme natural events, misuse or normal wear. Business customers are covered for two years or for whatever has been agreed in writing.

10. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty, under Decree-Law No. 24/2014.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

Any complaint may be addressed to geral@valled.pt or +351 273 979 117. Valled undertakes to reply within 15 working days.

Failing agreement, and if you are a consumer, you may turn free of charge to the alternative consumer dispute resolution body to which Valled adheres: CNIACC (the Portuguese National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes), www.cniacc.pt.

12. Applicable law and competent court

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. As a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, no clause in these terms takes that away. In contracts with business customers the courts of the district of Bragança have jurisdiction.

13. Changes

Valled may amend these terms. Your order is always governed by the version in force at the moment you submitted it, and that is the version recorded with the order.
